I can't sleep yet, so here you go, more random thoughts:

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, we see that a boggart will take on all of the characteristics of what a person fears. For example, Harry's dementor-boggart made the room cold and caused Harry to pass out with his mother's scream in his head. So shouldn't Remus's moon-boggart should have triggered his transformation?

Unlike most of my random thoughts, I'm going to take the time to think of an actual answer. While the boggart may have tried to act like the moon, and have the characteristics of the moon, it is non really the moon. The boggart-dementor wasn't as powerful as the actual thing. And maybe a boggart can only replicate physical characteristics, such as the appearance, and ability to make everything cold. Not sure that the ability to turn a man into a giant wolf is a physical characteristic. So my final conclusion is that just because it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, doesn't make it a duck. Not sure if that can hold up, but whatever.

Now, while Harry Potter may be one of the best book series ever written, it too has its flaws.

There was one little thing that I noticed as strange. If basalisk venom is able to desroy a horcrux, then why did Harry still have the horcux in him in the seventh book? When the basalisk bit him, it should have destroyed the horcrux.

How about this one: Harry couldn't cast Crucio properly after Bellatrix knocked Sirius into the veil. But he was capaple of a pretty good one after one of Voldemort's goons spit on McGonnagall (sp?). Honestly, that in itself has no good reason. It's not like he spent his summers practicing it on the Dursleys (though that's a good idea). If seeing Sirius die right in front of him wasn't enough to make him mean it, then seeing someone spitting on his head of house definately shouldn't have been.

In every book, someone saved Harry right before he was about to be killed. In book one, Dumbledore saved him when he was near death from the exertion and pain that it caused him to touch Quirrel. In book two, Fauxe came to him just as Tom Riddle was about to kill him. In book three, Harry and Hermione saved Harry and Sirius from the dementors right when past-Harry had passed out and was about to have his soul sucked out. In book four, the weird Priori Incantatem thing saved him, when Voldemort's Avada Kedavra should have split right through Harry's Expelliarmus. In book five, the Order showed up and saved Harry right when he was about to hand the prophecy to Malfoy. Then Dumbledore showed up, saving Harry and the Order, and turning the tables dramatically in their favor. In book six, Dumbledore went from being a barmy fool, babbling uncontrollably, into being strong enough to cast an extremely difficult fiery spell for an extended amount of time. Just in time to save Harry from the inferi. In book seven, there were several instances. I refuse to name them all, not only because there are many very obvious ones, but because I've got plans with a friend tomorrow morning, and I want to get to sleep early tonight. So goodnight everyone.

I'm out of school for spril break, finally. It's been pretty slow so far, and yet it's already almost over. But that's how breaks from school always work.

Monday, my teacher took me to town. Yes, it sounds pathetic, but my friends shut up with the teasing when they found out that she bought me Olive Garden and took me to Hot Topic (she waited outside of course).

Tuesday, I was planning to go to Alex's hockey game. But I got invited to a sleepover at my friend Jessica's house. My grandfather made me choose one or the other. Logically, if I had gone to the hockey game, I would have had about an hour of mild enjoyment. The only real bright side would be the heated looks between me and him. But if I went to the sleepover, I would have several hours of fun with my friends. So I went to the sleepover.
At Jessica's sleepover, we got to hang out in her basement (which is a lot cooler than it sounds, with a pool table, couches, gargantuan tv, and a door leading straight to their front yard; said front yard has a beautiful view of the lake). There was Jessica (15-ish), Jessie (me!)(15), Katie (15-ish), Kaleigh (15), April (14), and Jessica's two brothers (Jacob=14-ish; Jordan=10).
So we all (including Jacob, but not Jordan) sat around the basement/ hang-out room, talking. Most of us were sitting on the couch. Katie was sitting in some big chair-thing. Amber (who couldn't spend the night, due to medical reasons, but was hanging out for a bit) and Jessica sat on a gigantic footstool. Jacob sat on the floor near my end of the couch, leaning against a wall.
We chatted about people we knew, people we didn't like, the reasons that we didn't like them, people that we thought were gay, our views on gay people, etc. Jacob didn't say much, but not in an uncomfortable way. He just doesn't say much. Not really a shy vibe, it's like he doesn't have anything to say on the subject or something.
My friends are all extremely homophobic. I think that it is incredibly insane to be afraid of someone because of who they like. I'm not going to try to change my friends' minds though. I'll just give them my personal opinion on the subject and lead by example. I honestly don't care if a guy is gay (as long as I know, and don't end up crushing on him), and as long as the girls don't make a move on me, I don't care about their choice either. Don't hit on me, Miss.
Kaleigh kept trying to get me to call her ex, one of my friends, to prank call him or something. I eventually stopped using *67 and just used her number. But he wouldn't answer, so I used my phone; he still didn't answer. As I was informed by text only minutes ago, it's because he is in pensacola and doesn't get service in the hotel (he spelled it hotle lol). Ah well, there goes several minutes of my life.
So we watch both Austin Powers movies. Eventually, we all began to fall asleep. In fact, though Jacob was planning on sleeping in his room down the hall, he stayed too.

Once the ending credits of Austin Powers 2 had begun to roll across the screen, I was scooted so that I was half on the couch and half on the foot stool thing. I would periodically wake up, and look around or check my phone.
Around midnight, I woke up, hearing something. There was nothing to fear though. It was just Jacob, taking off his shirt. I looked at him for a second, then laid right back down.
Sometime around 2 AM, I moved my hand (which had at sometime fallen off of the couch) onto Jacob's hair (it's similar to this, just a little shorter), which was a little coarse though in a pleasant way. He's a light sleeper, so I fully expected him to wake up. He didn't.
Thirty minutes or so later, he sat up a little and situated his pillow, before flopping back down(landing on my hand). Sitting back up, he looked at my hand, then layed back down again, though more gently this time. He made no attempt to get away from my hand.
He did the exact thing again fifteen minutes later. I, of course, was pretending to be asleep the entire time. Apparently I'm a good actress. Though it's not a very hard part to play. All I needed to do was relax, breath calmly and slowly, and sigh once.
Later, I moved my hand back onto the couch, not wanting to be in his personal bubble. It's just not nice to get in someone's personal space when they're asleep.
At one point I seriously was asleep. Then I woke up and looked around. Jacob, however, looked different. His hair was darker and longer and he was wearing a shirt. On a second look, I realized that it was Jessica. I curled back up in my spot (which was slightly cramped, since April had rolled over toward me) and went back to sleep.
At seven or eight, all the girls except Jessica were awake. Jacob was gone. (I didn't know it, but at that time, he was at the dentist.) We talked quietly until Jessica woke up. Then we got dressed in our bathing suits and went to the beach (the lake, with sand). Some guy was riding up and down the road on a dirt bike. He eventually stopped and parked at the beach. When he took off his helmet, I realized that it was Jacob. (BTW, his middle name is Edward. That's right: Jacob Edward ******.)
We all got in the water, which was absolutely freezing! So me, Jessica, and Katie swam to the dock (it's really just a block of concrete floating a few yards out from the rest; no clue how) that's out there. Katie swam back and went back to the shallows to talk to everyone.
I took a running jump into the water. You do not want to dive in there, because my feet touched the bottom. Easily.

After a walk back to Jessica's house, the girls started cooking. They made bacon, mac & cheese, stuffing, and ramen. Me, Jacob, and Jordan watched the end of Toy Story (which Jordan had put on for their little cousin, but she wasn't watching it).

So I got a ride home from Kaleigh's mom around 3 (pm, obviously). I got dressed and went to church, where I met up with everyone that I had just left. Natalie was super bummed that she missed it. But I made a pretty obvious hint that I might have a sleepover for my sweet 16 this summer, and that cheered her up.
The problem is, since my grandmother is going to start chemo soon, I can't have any company. Her friends come over all the time, but I can't have anyone over. She won't stop getting chemo until October, despite the fact that the doctor says that he thinks he got it all out when she had it surgically removed. Pisses me off.

It's fine. Life's not fair. I'm used to that. Everyone thinks that I get whatever I want. I have an allowance of $30 a week, and a lot of stuff that I probably don't really need, like my truck, mini-fridge, two laptops, two rooms, a desktop computer, a mini-air hockey table, a futon and couch in one of my rooms, and two tvs. But I can't do anything that the neighbors wouldn't like. I can't wear jeans to church on Sunday, because the ladies at church would talk. I can't go to get the paper if my clothes don't match properly, because the neighbors would think that I wasn't raised properly.

When one of my friends had to find a place to stay, because his mom and step-dad were druggies, he couldn't stay. Our spare bedroom is upstairs and through my mom's room. It would be just about impossible for us to have done anything, even if we had wanted to. The only reason that my granddad had was that he had talked to the preacher and one of my other guy friend's dads, and both of them thought that it was a bad idea. It was my friend's time of need, and he had to get a room from someone that he only got along with occasionally, because my grandparents thought that someone would think that it was improper for a boy and a girl to live in the same house if they weren't related or married. Pisses me off.

Random Thoughts

Topic: Random Thoughts

Have you ever noticed the little things in books that just don't add up? Just tiny little details that nag at you, and force you to point out to people? I never used to, until this past year. Let's beging with the entire series of Twilight.

Let me, however, start off by saying this: I know that Twilight is not real. I am sincerely glad. While I was almost perfectly desribed by Stephanie Myer's depiction of the wolves, I have no desire to live in a world where beautiful, pale critters run around super fast, killing people. So I don't ever want to hear someone say "Lighten up, it's only a book, written for our entertainment." I know this, but I wish she had spent a little more time making sure that her ideas actually made since. Well here we go!

Just because direct sunlight isn't hitting the Cullens shouldn't mean that they don't sparkle. The sun is always shining a little bit on us during the day. Even during a huge storm, if you can see around you, then the sun is shining. Also, there was never a scientific reason given for why sunlight made them sparkle. Face it, Twilight was just the brainchild of a woman that obsessed way too much over one wierd dream that she had.

Also, vampires are dead, right? And they are frozen as they are. Which means that the blood in their veins isn't moving anymore. Well, aside from the fact that this would cause them to become stiff as a statue once the blood clotted, it also has other meanings. The honeymoon? Couldn't have happened. Don't believe me? For Edward to get hard, his junk would fill up with blood. That's what makes it rise, dumb-ass. And since his blood would have clotted over ninety years ago, that makes this impossible. So Renesmee: gone.

Right now, I cant' think of any more, but I'll be sure to post more later. And no, I doubt anyone is actually going to care enough to read this, but I love to rant. Night, yall!

My First Entry
Mood:  hug me

Alright. So I'm pretty new to the whole blogging thing. I think it's kinda pointless. But hey, what else do I have to do right now?

I'm really bored, but in a kind of cuddly, lazy mood. I just want to lay around, snuggling up to somebody. Maybe watch a little tv or something. But ah well, I'm not at his house right now, and he's at a friend's anyway, so that throws my plans out the window.

Tomorrow, I get to go with my mom's friend to watch her son (the earlier mentioned mysterious 'he') play roller hockey. I don't know the rules of hockey, but I went last Saturday, and it wasn't too bad. He even got the puck a few times. Yay, a few random scrapes (sarcasm).

Anyway, I'm gonna go read fanfiction. Yes, I'm a super fanfic nerd. Wink I recomend checking out fanfiction.net; it's my life support. And yes, there are a few poorly written ones by the pen name 'silver5866', though the majority have either not been finished or haven't even made the transition from my notebooks and folders to my laptop. Anyway, check it out, see if you like anything. If you do, review.

Love always- Silver
